In a common trait of Aussie exploitation a seemingly shallow premise meets an absolutely unnerving execution. Two Sydney suburbanites head out for a weekend camping trip in an effort to salvage their failing marriage, and have that go as well as such plans usually do. What could be a hysterical Oz riff on DAY OF THE ANIMALS never settles the question on is there a malign intent and organization behind it all and as such the viewer is offered no relief and must watch and wait, just as trapped. It's utterly unlike anything I've seen before. Recommended.
